Denied authorization to take Karnataka II PUC tests wearing hijab, two understudies leave

Bengaluru: Two Muslim young lady understudies on Friday intentionally left the test community after they were denied authorization by the specialists to show up in the II PUC (Class 12) assessments in Karnataka wearing a hijab.

As per Zee Media reports, the occurrence occurred at Vidyodaya PU College in Udupi. Around 6.84 lakh understudies today showed up in the II PUC (Class 12) assessments in Karnataka in the midst of tight security. The hijab-clad understudies were told to eliminate it at the entry and go to the assessment.
