Karti Chidambaram’s “I Have Lost Count” Tweet Soon After CBI Searches

New Delhi: Congress pioneer Karti Chidambaram, being examined for another situation over supposed pay off, today tweeted to say that he has “lost count” of the quantity of bodies of evidence recorded against him.

Mr Chidambaram offered the remarks not long after Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) led look at different private and official premises connected to him today.

“I have lost count, how often has it been? Should be a record,” he said in an obscure Tweet.

The hunts are allegedly being directed at around seven premises connected to Karti Chidambaram, his partner Bhaskaraman and others.

The ventures are being led across Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai and Tamil Nadu’s Sivaganga, from where Karti Chidambaram has been chosen for the Lok Sabha.

In the new case which is off shoot of a continuous test, the CBI has affirmed that Karti Chidambaram had gotten ₹ 50 lakh asserted pay off to work with visa of 250 Chinese nationals during the UPA system, the authorities said.

Karti Chidambaram is being examined in cases enlisted by the CBI, including the case held up on May 15, 2017 over abnormalities in a Foreign Investment Promotion Board (FIPB) leeway conceded to INX Media bunch for getting abroad assets of ₹ 305 crore in 2007 during P Chidambaram’s residency as the Union Finance Minister.
