Lalitpur assault case: SHO, who supposedly assaulted 13-year-old assault survivor, captured in Uttar Pradesh’s Prayagraj

The 13-year-old young lady, purportedly assaulted by four men north of three days, was physically attacked once more by the SHO of the police headquarters where she had went to document an objection.

New Delhi: The Uttar Pradesh Police captured Station House Officer (SHO) Tilakdhari Saroj, who is blamed for physically attacking a 13-year-old assault casualty in Lalitpur area, on Wednesday (May 4, 2022).

Prayagraj Additional Director General of Police (ADGP) Prem Prakash said SHO Tilakdhari Saroj was captured from close to the Allahabad High Court.

The 13-year-old young lady, purportedly assaulted by four men more than three days, was physically attacked once more by the SHO of the police headquarters where she had went to document an objection alongside a family member.

ADGP Prakash said on a hint from his Kanpur partner, a police group was squeezed into the assistance and looked for him based on his cell phone area.

The authority informed that the SHO was changing his cell phone at the hour of the capture. From the beginning, the police had the option to follow his area to Banda, then Chitrakoot lastly in Prayagraj.

Subsequent to scrutinizing a man near him, the SHO was captured from close to the High Court there, he said.

ADGP Prem Prakash said apparently he was searching for some legitimate help. The denounced cop was given over to the police group, which will carry him to Lalitpur.

Not long after the capture, the SHO was heard saying on TV channels that he was blameless and looked for a fair investigation into the episode.

The authorities informed that the police have captured six individuals for the situation till now. The occurrence became exposed after the casualty portrayed her difficulty to a NGO, which moved toward the director of police. Following his intercession, a FIR was enrolled on Tuesday.
